    Module Structure

    In Module 2 – Deepening Sustainability: Interdisciplinary, Critical, Reflexive, you can attend selected courses with a sustainability focus from a range of courses offered by all Bremen universities. By attending this module, you will gain an interdisciplinary perspective on sustainability topics, learn about different perspectives and possible conflicts, solutions, and approaches to fascinating scientific and societal questions, and be able to further develop your own critical-reflexive mindset.

    Module Completion

    You can take Module 2 as an elective module for both BRENA_start and BRENA_plus. For BRENA_start, you are free to choose how many courses from Module 2 you take and how many ECTS credits they are worth. For BRENA_plus, you must complete Module 2 by taking courses worth at least 3 ECTS.

    Participation Requirements

    The course offerings for the Sustainability Certificate „BRENA“ are updated each semester. This includes regular courses from degree programs at all Bremen universities with a sustainability focus that are opened for the certificate program. Whether there are specific participation requirements or a specific participation quota for the certificate program is determined by the lecturers offering the course.
