• Module 1 – Sustainability Basics

    Module Structure

    In Module 1 – Sustainability Basics, you can take courses from the Virtual Academy of Sustainability (VAN). The various courses are introductions to scientific research on sustainability topics from different disciplinary perspectives. The courses of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability can be attended online and at any time and can be easily integrated into your semester plan according to your needs and preferences.

    Module Completion

    Taking courses in Module 1 is mandatory for both BRENA_start and BRENA_plus. To complete Module 1 of the Sustainability Certificate, you must earn a total of 3 ECTS, which corresponds to one course of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability. The participation certificate is issued upon successful completion of online exams. For the courses of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability, there are several exam dates available each semester. After successful completion, you will receive a module certificate that you must attach to your certificate application.

    Participation Requirements

    There are no participation restrictions or other requirements for the courses of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability.

    Registration

    To register for a course of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability, simply enter yourself in one of the courses on the online platform. Then you can start whenever you like.
